Lawn Bowls
Section has subsidy scheme for the
participation of the National Competitions (National Fours, National
Triples, National Pairs and National Singles), to promote the
participation and to encourage our members in these matches.
Entrance fees of the
captioned competitions enrolled under USRC will
be fully subsided for LBS members who have played at least 10
games for USRC in the current
league season + past two league seasons. For
example, USRC league players who have played at least 10 games in [2016
Premier League + 2015 Triples League + 2015 Premier League] for USRC will
be entitled for subsidy.
For any team enrolled
under USRC, more than 50% of team members must be LBS members. Substitute
is allowed, providing that the member receiving this subsidy is still a
permanent member of the team according to HKLBA byelaw.
The subsidy will not
apply in the event that a related eligible section member who fails to
arrive and /or misconduct during the competitions.
LBS sub-committee
will have the discretion to withdraw and /or re-allocate the subsidy based
on the availability of the funding.
